Job summary

Simpson’s Lane Academy is seeking a SEN Support Officer to join our team in November 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis. You will support the SENCO, track interventions, and help deliver tailored support to pupils with SEND to remove barriers to learning.

The role is based at Knottingley, with the academy offering a positive curriculum and opportunities for professional development. Visits and enquiries should be directed to the academy staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the SENCO and ensure tracking and delivery of interventions to improve pupil progress across the Academy.
• Deliver bespoke intervention packages to primary aged pupils with SEND designed to remove barriers to learning.
