Job summary

Melior Community Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking a SEN Support Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis from November 2026.

You will provide administrative support for the SENCO, track and deliver interventions to improve pupil progress, and manage the daily deployment of Teaching Assistants to support student needs and interventions for pupils with SEND.

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days (39 weeks).

Qualifications

• Provide administrative support for the SENCO and ensure tracking of interventions.
• Deliver bespoke intervention packages to pupils with SEND.
• Manage deployment and performance of Teaching Assistants to support pupil progress.
