Job summary

Melior Community Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking a SEN Support Officer to join us in November 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis. You will provide administrative support for the SENCO, track and deliver interventions to improve pupil progress, and manage Teaching Assistant deployment to support student needs.

The role is 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks). The Academy is part of Delta Academies Trust, and we invite well-qualified staff to contribute to a warm, inclusive

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the SENCO and ensure tracking and delivery of interventions to improve pupil progress across the Academy.
• Manage the daily deployment and performance of the Teaching Assistants to ensure effective use across the academy.
• Deliver bespoke intervention packages to pupils with SEND designed to remove barriers to learning.
