Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting a SEN Support Coordinator for the Southwark Resource Centre and community settings. The post holder will coordinate and support services for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism, sensory needs, physical disabilities, dementia and other conditions.

You will lead staff, promote safeguarding, develop person-centred plans, and ensure services meet regulatory requirements across statutory and non-statutory frameworks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• SEND teaching qualification (HLA/SEND teaching/QTS) or willingness to undertake.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge including MCA/DoLS and PBS principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support staff to deliver outcome-focused, person-centred services.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures, risk management and statutory frameworks are applied.
• Develop and review personalised support plans including PBS and SMART outcomes.
