Protocol Education is recruiting for SEN Support Assistants in Ealing, West London, for an immediate start. The role is full-time and long-term, supporting children with SEND in a specialist setting and school environment.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and manage social development. A caring, proactive approach and DBS clearance are essential, with duties working alongside teachers and the wider SEN team.

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience in a school, specialist setting or care environment desirable.
• Must hold appropriate qualifications and training; Child & Adult DBS required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Support pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Assist with communication, learning and social development.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Encourage independence and confidence in pupils.
• Work closely with teachers and the SEN team.
• Personal care may be required depending on pupil needs.

We are working with a supportive specialist school in Ealing looking for caring, reliable and experienced SEN Support Assistants to join their team.

The Role

You will support children and young people with a range of SEND and complex needs, helping them access learning and develop their independence.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs
• Assisting with communication, learning and social development
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Encouraging pupils to build independence and confidence
• Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
• Personal care may be required, depending on the pupil's needs

We Are Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience within a school, specialist setting or care environment is desirable
• Patient, caring and proactive approach
• Confident supporting pupils with complex needs
• Must hold both Child & Adult DBS
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and committed to a long-term school role
