Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in mainstream primary schools across Newham. This full-time role involves 1:1 or small-group support and close collaboration with class teachers and SENCOs to assist learning, communication and behaviour.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with learning, development, communication, behaviour and individual educational needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement targeted support.
  • Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance to pupils as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job description

Due to an increase in SEN needs across our mainstream schools in Newham, we are currently looking for experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for passionate individuals who have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and are confident providing support on a 1:1 or small-group basis.

You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with their learning, development, communication, behaviour and individual educational needs.

Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

What We're Looking For

  • Must be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
