We are looking for a passionate and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated team, supporting young people with SEN/SLD across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in a primary-style setting. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, adaptive and cross-curricular learning experiences tailored to individual needs, while fostering positive relationships, promoting wellbeing and supporting students to achieve their full potential. Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals, you will contribute to EHCP outcomes, remove barriers to learning and create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every young person can thrive.
For this role, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who can plan and deliver engaging, adaptive lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN/SLD. The successful candidate will be flexible, innovative, and open to new approaches that enhance learning and support positive outcomes for young people. They will have a strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and actively contribute to their development and implementation, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive. With a relationships-first approach, they will promote student wellbeing, utilise emotion coaching and restorative practices, and communicate with sensitivity and empathy. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and overcoming barriers to success, demonstrating a commitment to helping every young person achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
Salary: Salary: M1-UPS plus SEN Allowance (£2,787) – Pay award pending
