Job summary

Reed Education are partnering with a specialist SEMH/PSB school in Farnham to recruit three dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants on a full-time basis. You will support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and help them overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in SEN settings is essential
• Experience with SEMH/ASD/ADHD, or other needs is desirable
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Full-time, Monday–Friday availability

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Building positive relationships with pupils and acting as a trusted role model
• Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom
• Assisting with behaviour management strategies
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide the best outcomes for students

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within SEN settings is essential
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs
• A calm, resilient, and patient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis
