Job summary

Reed Education is partnering with a specialist SEMH/PSB school in Farnham, seeking three dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team on a full-time basis.

You will support students with SEMH needs, build positive relationships, assist with learning inside and outside the classroom, and work closely with teachers to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

This is a rewarding role offering ongoing support from Reed Education and opportunities for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in SEN settings is essential.
• Experience supporting SEMH, behavioural needs, ASD, ADHD, or other needs preferred.
• Calm, resilient, and patient approach.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Building positive relationships with pupils and acting as a trusted role model

Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom

Assisting with behaviour management strategies

Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence

Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide the best outcomes for students

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working within SEN settings is essential

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs

A calm, resilient, and patient approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives

Ability to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis
