Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs across secondary schools in Bury and Rochdale.

Role involves 1:1 and small-group support, close collaboration with teachers and SENCOs, and promoting positive engagement in learning across a range of settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

Veritas Education is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of secondary schools across Bury and Rochdale. These roles offer both short-term and long-term opportunities, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.

Requirements
