Job summary

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and build positive behaviours, under the guidance of teachers and SENCOs. Immediate starts available with flexible opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in secondary education?

Veritas Education is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of secondary schools across Bury and Rochdale. These roles offer both short-term and long-term opportunities, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential

Requirements
