Job summary

Thrive Group is seeking an outstanding SEN Teacher for a long-term post in a prestigious secondary school in the L36 area. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students with MLD, ASD, and Epilepsy, working 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM in a dedicated SEN department.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the SENCO, therapists, and teaching assistants to ensure tailored support and effective EHCP processes, with competitive pay scales and strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required.
• Experience teaching SEN secondary pupils (MLD/ASD focus preferred).
• Familiarity with EHCP processes and targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated secondary lessons for pupils with MLD/ASD.
• Create a structured, sensory-friendly classroom environment.
• Collaborate with SENCO, Therapists, and TAs to support pupils with Epilepsy and SEN needs.
• Utilise visual aids, structured routines, and adaptive learning strategies.
• Write and update EHCP reviews, targets, and progress reports.
