Supply Desk Ltd. in Tring, Hertfordshire, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school this September.

This full-time role focuses on supporting children with additional needs and helping them engage with learning in a safe, inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support, one-to-one or in small groups, adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering confidence, independence, and social development

Qualificações

  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support individual pupils

Supply Desk are seeking a professional, compassionate, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in the Tring area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic, with a genuine desire to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils, helping them engage with learning and develop their confidence, independence, and social skills. The role may involve supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, adapting activities to meet individual needs, and providing encouragement throughout the school day.
