Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in Smethwick. You will help the pupil access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment.

We offer a welcoming school community, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real impact on a child’s educational journey. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential; a £250 referral bonus is available for successful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).

• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Smethwick. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their SEND Provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
