Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in Smethwick. You will help the pupil access lessons, build confidence and thrive within the classroom alongside the school’s SEN team.

Experience with children and SEN awareness are valued, with Level 2/3 TA qualifications desirable but not essential. The role offers ongoing training and the chance to make a real impact in a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Smethwick. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their Year 2 class.

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
