Elevate Supply is working with a supportive, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in Crumpsall seeking a reliable and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role is ideal for someone confident supporting children in KS1 and lower KS2 with additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.

About the Role:

Working 1:1 with pupils with EHCPs and/or additional needs

Supporting small groups to reinforce learning and promote engagement

Assisting the class teacher with planning and behaviour strategies

Helping pupils access the curriculum and build independence

Liaising with the SENCO and external agencies where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting

Calm, consistent, and confident working with pupils who need structure

Ability to build trust and establish clear boundaries

Understanding of autism, sensory needs, and emotional regulation

Any relevant training (e.g. Team Teach, PECS, Makaton) is an advantage
