Job summary

S.N.G Health Care Agency is seeking an experienced Pastoral Support Worker for a specialist SEN School in Southampton. You will support the wellbeing and personal growth of students and work closely with teachers and families to promote safeguarding, attendance and positive behaviour.

This role welcomes candidates with at least 12 months of TA experience, a caring approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a supportive environment. Term-time only may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or in a similar education support role.
• Positive, caring and compassionate approach to supporting children.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour, safeguarding and attendance and student wellbeing.
