Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Barnet, supporting pupils with autism and learning disabilities.

You will deliver 1:1 and small-group support, assist with communication and sensory needs, adapt activities to individual learning plans, and collaborate with teachers to ensure consistent, compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialist SEND school or complex-needs setting.
• Proven experience supporting pupils with autism and learning disabilities.
• Confidence supporting pupils with communication difficulties and sensory needs.
• A calm, resilient and proactive approach to behaviour and individual needs.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a genuine commitment to pupil development.
• Willingness to support personal care where required.

The role:
