Job summary

Enlighten Supply Pool Ltd is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a dedicated SEN school in London. Starting ASAP, the roles involve in-class support for the main teacher and one-to-one work with students. The school supports children with Autism, Communication difficulties and Moderate Learning Needs.

Paid at £80–£120 per day (DOE), with full training and support provided. Located in North West London, the school recently achieved a 'Good' Ofsted.

Qualifications

• Learning Support Assistant experience in either a mainstream or SEN setting.
• Awareness of Autism awareness, Makaton, PECS.
• Willingness to take training in safeguarding, medication administration and first aid.
• A desire to work under challenging but highly rewarding circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to the main teacher.
• Support students on a one-to-one basis as required.

About the School - Learning Support Assistant

Located in North West London, this is a well-run SEN School that has recently achieved a 'Good' overall Ofsted grade but is determined to improve further still. The school is for primary & secondary aged children that have needs including Autism, communication difficulties and learning difficulties. Starting now, the school is looking to appoint additional in class support for the main teacher and who will work with students on a one to one basis. This is a highly rewarding role at a school that has been hugely successful over the past few years!
