Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Chelmsford

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £128 per day

Contract Type: Permanent

Protocol Education is delighted to be working with a fantastic school in Chelmsford that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their specialist SEN provision on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers and the wider SEN team to provide tailored academic, behavioural and personal support.

The role may involve some personal care responsibilities. Previous personal care experience is not essential, as the school is happy to provide full training and support to the successful candidate.

The successful SEN LSA will have:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN
  • A patient, caring and understanding approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting individual needs
  • Previous experience working with children, young people or within an education setting is desirable but not essential
  • A willingness to undertake personal care duties where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
