Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and tailored support strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
  • Promote engagement, confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Celebrate progress and achievements, no matter how big or small.

SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford on a full-time basis.

The Role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
