Job summary

Academics Agency in Chesterfield is recruiting Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Chesterfield's specialist schools. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, adapting lessons to fit each learner and turning challenges into progress.

We offer weekly pay, term-time only work, free CPD, and dedicated consultant support from day one. DBS-ready candidates and references are required to succeed. Salary will reflect experience and policy.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN experience and ability to adapt and inspire.
• DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Two strong professional references ready to go.

Responsibilities

• Be their champion - support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.

• Collaborate like a pro - work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to track progress and shape EHCPs.
• Embrace every challenge - from sensory sensitivities to speech delays, you'll meet each child where they are and take them further.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Qualified or experienced - Level 3 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy - you've supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure - patient, flexible, and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• DBS-ready - Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect - two strong professional references ready to go.
