Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting SEN Cover Supervisors to join our team across Chesterfield's specialist schools. You will lead classrooms, support pupils 1:1 and adapt lessons to fit each learner, enabling progress and confidence.

Role is term-time, Monday–Friday, paid weekly. DBS required or available; references needed. Enjoy free CPD and flexible placements across Chesterfield’s well-regarded specialist schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced – Level 3 TA, HLTA, or equivalent supervising groups or classes in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy: you’ve supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect and inspire.
• Calm under pressure: patient, flexible and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• Confident leading a room: able to step in, take charge and keep learning on track.
• DBS-ready: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect: two strong professional references ready to go.

Responsibilities
