Academics Agency in Chesterfield is seeking Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Chesterfield’s specialist schools. Start ASAP and work across multiple placements, supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other learning needs.

You will be the calm, patient presence helping pupils access learning, adapt activities, and build confidence. DBS checks and references are essential, with weekly PAYE payments and term-time hours.

Academics Agency is recruiting Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Chesterfield's most dynamic specialist schools - and we want YOU.

YOUR MISSION (SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT):

• Be their champion - support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building confidence and core skills.
• Think on your feet - adapt lessons, resources, and approaches to fit each unique learner.
• Turn behaviour into progress - use positive, tailored strategies that build self-esteem and engagement.
• Collaborate like a pro - work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to track progress and shape EHCPs.
• Embrace every challenge - from sensory sensitivities to speech delays, you'll meet each child where they are and take them further.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Qualified or experienced - Level 2 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy - you've supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure - patient, flexible, and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• DBS-ready - Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect - two strong professional references ready to go.

• £92.56-£110 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, depending on experience) + holiday pay
