Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistants to support learners across Doncaster’s specialist schools. You will champion pupils 1:1 and in small groups, tailoring lessons to each learner’s needs, and collaborating with teachers to shape EHCPs.

Role involves handling behavioural support, sensory needs, and communication delays with patient, flexible approaches. DBS checks and strong references are required, with opportunities for CPD and career progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced-Level 3 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy—you\'ve supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure—patient, flexible, and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• DBS-ready—Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect—two strong professional references ready to go.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
