Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a passionate Learning Support Worker for a SEN centre in the UK. The role focuses on helping young adults with learning difficulties, including ASD, to become effective communicators and independent individuals.

You will support life skills, employability, and further education in a 1:1 and small group setting, with some community work. The position runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, offering centre facilities, on-site parking, funded training, free meals, and clear

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults or pupils with learning or communication difficulties.
• Ability to support learners with life skills, employability skills and education support.
• Demonstrates honesty, trustworthiness and ethical behaviour at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in 1:1 and small group settings to develop independence and life skills.
• Assist with participation in social, leisure, educational and employment opportunities in the local community.
• Provide support and care outlined in individual learning plans.
• Help students maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
• Participate in mandatory training and required qualifications.
