Job summary

Principal Education is seeking hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in special needs schools across London. LSAs will support pupils with SEN, typically 1:1 or in small groups, collaborating with teachers to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The roles require full-time availability (Mon–Fri) and a recent enhanced DBS. London-based candidates or those within commuting distance are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
• Patience, empathy, composure, and diligence.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Recent enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Overseas police clearance if lived abroad for 6+ months in last 5 years.
• Based in London or within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities
