Job summary

Berrow Church Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team, helping pupils engage confidently in learning. You will deliver in-class support planned by teachers and assist with resources and safeguarding.

The role suits someone with experience supporting pupils with SEND, the ability to work independently, and strong communication with families. GCSEs in Maths and English are required; First Aid training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with individual needs (SEN).
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
• Good general education with GCSEs in Maths/English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support for pupils planned by teachers.
• Assist with resource preparation, displays and pupil care.
• Keep records and liaise with parents and staff.
