Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a SEN School from September. You will support students aged 4-18 with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH, delivering tailored learning and emotional support.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with competitive daily pay (£95-£120) depending on experience. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and families to promote inclusive learning and ensure every child makes

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
• Patient, resilient and compassionate.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Holds Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom.
• Implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.
• Support students with communication, regulation, and engagement.
• Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents.
