Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in Bromley secondary schools from Year 7 to 11. You will work closely with teachers to deliver a broad curriculum and help pupils reach their potential in a caring, inclusive environment.

With a patient, empathetic approach and strong communication, you will support pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs, and contribute to positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Patient, empathetic and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• DBS check on update service or willingness to obtain.
• Experience supporting pupils preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Year 7-11
• Assist the class teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
• Support children with additional needs, including those with EHCPs
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals
