Job summary

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant Level 2 to join our SEN support team at The Oval, Smethwick. This fixed-term post runs from October 2026 to 31 July 2027, 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 inset days, supporting KS1/KS2 pupils with EHCPs in 1:1 or small-group settings.

The successful candidate will have LSA2 experience in classrooms, with SEND groups and intervention work.

Qualifications

• LSA2 with proven classroom experience supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups across all key stages.
• Experience with SEND pupils and intervention groups.
• Visits are warmly welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide work as part of the SEN support team.
• Support pupils in KS1/KS2 with EHCPs to access the curriculum.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups as required.
