Job summary

Ormiston Rivers Academy invites applications for a committed SEN Support role within our dedicated team. The post involves 37.5 hours per week, term time plus one week, delivering classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs, disability or specific medical needs.

Training will be provided for administering medication where required. You will join a welcoming SEN team, contributing to high-quality teaching and learning and ensuring a supportive environment for pupils

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at least Grade C or equivalent.
• Experience in supporting students with SEN or disability is desirable.
• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs.
• Administer individual students’ medication after appropriate training.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to support student outcomes.
