Job summary

Ormiston Rivers Academy invites applications for a committed SEN Support role within our dedicated team. The post involves 37.5 hours per week, term time plus one week, delivering classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs, disability or specific medical needs.

Training will be provided for administering medication where required. You will join a welcoming SEN team, contributing to high-quality teaching and learning and ensuring a supportive environment for pupils

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at least Grade C or equivalent.
• Experience in supporting students with SEN or disability is desirable.
• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard working, supportive and welcoming SEN Team in September. The Successful Candidate Will Be

• Prepared to administer individual students’ medication (after appropriate training)
• Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic
• Positive and professional
• Educated to at least GCSE Grade C in English and Maths
• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and others
• Ideally, experienced in supporting students with special education needs or disability.
