Job summary

Ormiston Rivers Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible SEN support member to join the team on a 37.5-hour week during school terms plus one additional week. The role involves providing classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs, disabilities or medical needs, and may include supervising medication after training.

Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE grade C in English and Maths and able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard working, supportive and welcoming SEN Team in September. The role requires working for 37.5 hours per week, school term time plus 1 week. Duties will include providing classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs, disability or specific medical needs., Ormiston Rivers Academy is a smaller than average 11-19 academy, with a renowned and respected sponsor, and a proven record of school improvement. We are set in a beautiful, rural location, in a thriving riverside town, with an active and involved community. We were recognised as solidly "Good" in our last Ofsted inspection (September 2017), and have received wide recognition for our achievements and results. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
