Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming network of Brentwood and Essex schools. You’ll support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assist with lessons and classroom management, and bring calm and organisation to busy classrooms.

You can choose the days you’re available, work across primary, secondary and early years settings, and gain diverse experience. Weekly pay, flexible hours and ongoing support from your dedicated Remedy consultant help you fit supply work

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience ideal)
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• Genuine passion for helping young people succeed

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bring calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Support pupils with additional needs where required
• Help ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
