Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Brentwood and surrounding Essex schools. You will work across primary, secondary, and early years settings, providing 1:1 or small-group assistance and helping with classroom tasks.

Whether you want a few days a week or more, this role offers flexibility, variety and valuable experience in education, with ongoing support from a dedicated Remedy Education consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day.
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments.
