Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Brentwood and Essex. This flexible role offers the chance to work with primary, secondary, and early years settings, with hours varying by week to fit your life.

You’ll work 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with lessons and classroom management, and help maintain calm and positive learning environments across different schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people; school-based experience is ideal but not essential.
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
