Job summary

Teaching Personnel in the Ebbw Vale area is seeking a SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 3–19 with SEN in a partnered Special Educational Needs school. You will deliver 1:1 and small group support, help pupils feel safe, understood, and motivated to engage and progress in inclusive classrooms.

This hands-on role offers flexible involvement across age groups, a performance-based environment, competitive daily pay, and opportunities for long-term roles; a DBS check, EWC

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Two professional references covering 24 months

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs across pupils aged 3–19 with SEN
• Implement strategies for managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours and support emotional development
