Tiverton High School is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join the SEND team. You will work with teachers to support pupils in lessons, deliver targeted interventions and promote inclusion, helping students access learning and build confidence.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15am–3:15pm with a 30-minute unpaid break. Requirements include NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, and experience supporting students with SEN.

Job requirements
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum
GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above
Experience of supporting students with SEN and utilising strategies to manage behaviours and meet needs, including supporting speech and language
Awareness of Child Safeguarding and the latest SEN policies to implement effective provision, including working with outside agencies to deliver EHCP provisions
Ability to effectively communicate on the pupil’s progress, with strong written and verbal communication skills
