Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with autism in a well‑established primary school in Bexhill‑on‑Sea. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and another support professional to implement tailored strategies that promote positive behaviour and access to the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Ideally experience in supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH or behavioural needs
• Be confident in de‑escalation and behaviour management

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with autism and assist with emotional regulation and learning progress
• Collaborate with class teacher, SENCO and support staff to implement tailored strategies
• Create a safe, structured learning environment and promote independence and resilience
