Job summary

Long Term Futures are seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Richmond area. The role involves supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and related needs within the school's SEN hub, providing both small group and individual support throughout the day, and helping with learning, engagement and emotional regulation.

You'll work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals, using clear routines to create a settled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and related needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain clear expectations and boundaries.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement.
• Experience in schools, care or learning difficulties is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs within SEN hubs.
• Providing small group and individual support throughout the day.
• Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation.
• Using clear routines and consistent approaches to help pupils feel settled.
• Assisting pupils during lessons and structured activities.
