Job summary

Brooklands Academy, part of the 5 Dimensions Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The role supports students with Special Educational Needs, works under the SENCo, and involves 1-1 interventions and in-class support.

The position is permanent, 37 hours per week during term time plus training days, with salary Grade 4 (£26,847–£28,153 p.a. pro rata, actual £23,297–£24,431 p.a). The Trust offers CPD, pension schemes, and a focus on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with young people and support their wellbeing and education.
• Willingness to work under the SENCo and deliver targeted interventions.
• Ability to support students in lessons and provide 1-1 support where needed.

Responsibilities

• Be with students in lessons and deliver 1-1 interventions.
• Support students with Special Educational Needs under SENCo supervision.
• Contribute to wellbeing and educational progress of pupils.
