Job summary

Brooklands Academy, part of the 5 Dimensions Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The role supports students with Special Educational Needs, works under the SENCo, and involves 1-1 interventions and in-class support.

The position is permanent, 37 hours per week during term time plus training days, with salary Grade 4 (£26,847–£28,153 p.a. pro rata, actual £23,297–£24,431 p.a). The Trust offers CPD, pension schemes, and a focus on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with young people and support their wellbeing and education.
• Willingness to work under the SENCo and deliver targeted interventions.
• Ability to support students in lessons and provide 1-1 support where needed.

Learning Support Assistant

To commence ASAP

Permanent

Salary: Grade 4 £26,847 - £28,153 p.a , pro rata, £23,297 - £24,431 p.a actual

37 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 weeks per year)

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4:00pm Friday 08:00 -3:30pm with a half hour unpaid break

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant who will work under the direct supervision of the SENCo to support students with Special Educational Needs. Your role will include being with students in lessons and delivering intervention on a 1-1 basis. You must enjoy the challenge of working with young people and want to make a difference to their wellbeing and education.
