Job summary

Responsibilities

• Attend to the children's personal needs and welfare matters.
• Supervise and support children ensuring their safety and access to learning.
• Establish relationships with children to promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
• Encourage interaction and independent participation in activities led by the teacher.
• Provide first aid as appropriate to the level of training held and support for upset children.
