Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Lewisham schools on an ASAP basis. You will support pupil learning, run booster sessions and assist with behaviour management under the guidance of teachers.

Applicants should have right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake a DBS check. Experience with Maths/English GCSE or equivalent is desirable, as is a willingness to undertake further training.

Responsibilities

• Support pupil learning through delivery of learning programmes and build pupil confidence.
• Mentor students 1:1 and lead booster/intervention sessions to tackle difficult topics.
• Observe, record and feedback information on pupil performance.
• Assist with behaviour management in liaison with the teacher and support learning objectives.
• Promote inclusion and encourage pupil collaboration.
• Adapt resources for EAL and SEND pupils to access the curriculum.
• Create materials for curriculum delivery and display boards.
