Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools across Southwark. Flexible daily supply and long-term placements provide variety while making a positive impact on a child's learning journey.

You will support pupils one-to-one, help access the curriculum, and work with teachers and SEN staff to promote inclusion and progress. DBS checks and proper training are required.

Qualifications

• All applicants will require appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
• DBS check and updated safeguarding training are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils.
• Help pupils access the curriculum and engage in lessons.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and school staff.
• Encourage confidence, independence and resilience in learning.
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
