Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in SEN on a temporary contract to join our Worcester campus. You will provide high-quality learning support, including one-to-one and group sessions, to learners with diverse needs and specialist requirements.

This role may involve travel to other campuses and requires collaboration with tutors and staff to monitor progress. The successful candidate will support English and maths development, assist with assessments, and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning support to learners with wide ranges of needs (including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, and learning difficulties).
• Ability to work with tutors and staff to identify support requirements and track learner progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity in a college environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality one-to-one and group learning support to help learners engage and progress.
• Support learners with diverse needs and extra requirements within mainstream or specialist programmes.
• Assist with recruitment, enrolment, assessments, and initial diagnostics to identify support needs.
• Maintain accurate records of learner support and contribute to service improvement.
• Promote safeguarding, welfare, health and safety at all times.
