At GSL Education, we are supporting an SEND school in Exeter seeking a SEN Learning Mentor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP.

Role Details:

• Full-time, term-time only role
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Support across KS3-4 in various settings
• Requires a clean UK driving license and own car for business use

About the School:

The school provides personalized education for students with complex needs or EHCP pupils at risk of residential placements, offering bespoke timetables and thematic learning experiences to promote engagement and academic progress.

Responsibilities:

1. Guide students as a Learning Mentor, providing personalized support
2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans
3. Foster a nurturing environment to improve social and communication skills
4. Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and behavior interventions
