Job description

At GSL Education, we are supporting an SEND school in TAVISTOCK that is seeking Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join their team on a FULL-TIME basis, with an ASAP start date. The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

About the School

The school provides a personalised wrap-around education for students with complex needs or EHCP pupils at risk of residential placements. Each child receives high levels of support, including one-to-one assistance and bespoke timetables based on thematic learning experiences, designed to engage students, build resilience, and promote academic progress.

Role Details

This position involves working across KS3-4 in multiple settings. The children present challenging behaviour, so resilience and commitment are essential.

Requirements:

• A clean UK driving license and own car, to be used for business purposes.

Responsibilities
