Esland Group is hiring a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for our new Doncaster school. You will support SEN pupils aged 7 to 18, delivering lessons one-to-one or in small groups, and work closely with teachers to plan and adapt learning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with special educational needs (essential).
• Proven experience in an education setting (essential).
• Proven experience working with young people who present challenging behaviours (essential).
• Sound curriculum knowledge and ability to plan, evaluate and monitor learning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the educational and social development of each pupil.
• Form relationships with pupils, families and external agencies as appropriate.
• Assist planning and preparing lessons with teachers and adapt plans as needed.
• Develop resources for learning activities aligned to lesson plans and student needs.
• Differentiate learning to promote inclusion and attainment.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor pupil progress.
